MUMMY’S BOY

Mark, Alison and their son Charlie are on the perfect summer getaway in an AirBnb on the island of Samos. This is until Charlie’s best mate from university, Gemma, joins the fun. Amid vomit, tequila and bloodshed, an ancient vase from the property mysteriously disappears and Alison and Gemma engage in a vicious feud to prove their innocence, discredit one another and win Charlie’s trust. This darkly comic tale of social mobility and betrayal asks: How far would you go to win over the person you love? Especially when they represent your only escape.

Mummy’s Boy was selected by the Criterion Theatre to be presented on the Criterion Stage. It is currently in its next stage of development.
