Through the prism of social media, satire and song, SNOWFLAKE is a kaleidoscopic musical navigating the tricky nature of sexual identity and community within the confines of modern millennial hood. What happens when the label you gave yourself no longer fits? Do you fight the confusion or embrace the ambiguity?
In 2021 Snowflake was offered a place at The Lowry Rewrites Festival. We rehearsed at the New Diorama Broadgate space with a production directed by Tom Jackson Greaves and a wonderful cast of performers. A four track series of music videos introducing the world of Snowflake, featuring a cast of West End & emerging talent was also released. The Visual EP was nominated for for an Offie Award for Innovation.
